It seems alot of vehicles have burnt out lights. Everyday i am behind a vehicle with 1 or 2 lights out.  Tonight it was 2 burnt out brake lights.  They only have one brake light left and i am sure they will never know when it also is burnt out.

As the driver behind a vehicle in this condition, i found myself staring at the lights more then normal since the brake lights are not so obvious.  During daylight hours with the sun shining it is very difficult to see that one brake light.

This is just one good reason why you should Inspect your vehicle on a regular basis.   It is easy to check to see if your lights are working.

Here's a few tips how to Inspect your lights:

Back up against a store window,  step on the Brakes and you can see the lights in the window in your mirror.

You can also check turn signals, emergency flashers, and put it in reverse with your foot on the Brake and you can check your back up lights.

To check all your front lights, headlights, daytime running lights, turn signals, emergency flashers, high beams -  just face forward towards a reflecting glass window of a storefront and you can see all of these.

This will take you about 10 seconds to check the front & 10 seconds to check the back of your vehicle and you don't even have to get out of the vehicle.

So the next time you are in a parking lot facing a store front window check out your lights.  This 10 seconds could save your life, your family or someone else.

It really is so simple, there is no reason why so many vehicles are on the road with burnt out lights.
