Would you like to be able to do them on mobile devices? ![Using mobile inspections rather than paper inspection checklists can make it easier to stay organized.](https://www.thechecker.net/hs-fs/file-543792913-png/images/cluttered_desk_2_with_caption.png)I talk to a lot of people who are already using mobile devices in their jobs. They’re often surprised when I tell them how easy it is to do facility audits, building safety inspections, job-site inspections, pre-start hazard assessments, etc. on those devices. Electronic inspections have been around for a few years, but I get the sense that many businesses are still a bit leery of moving to mobile. They envision software licensing fees, set-up costs, user fees, per-usage fees, ongoing service fees, support fees, and so on. They understand the benefits of mobile, but they’re afraid the cost will be too high. There’s also the fact that the electronic inspection offerings haven’t been very good. The companies that have produced them primarily have software backgrounds, not safety and health backgrounds like The Checker—and it shows. Their mobile inspections aren’t designed in a way that makes inspection processes more efficient. As we like to explain, those are no longer valid reasons to stick with paper. We are now offering The Checker Mobile, which is a way for you to gain the advantages of mobile technology and the proven Checker system—with very little investment. **For only $100, you can get 200 of our mobile checklists for use with The Checker Mobile’s cloud-based software—*with absolutely no other cost involved*.** It’s that easy. **How The Checker Mobile Works** There are two basic components of The Checker Mobile: - The mobile checklists, which can be completed on any internet-connected device. - The inspection management administration module, which is called LAPS (Location/Asset/Personnel Sync). All the features that have made The Checker the leader in inspection checklist books are included in the **mobile checklists**. They are designed for ease of use and organized in the logical way items are actually reviewed. And each checklist is specific to what’s being inspected, audited, or assessed—*everything *that needs to be reviewed is included.  We have a library of hundreds of pre-built mobile checklists, and we can create forms for specific facilities, processes, vehicles, specialized equipment, etc.** When you purchase mobile checklists, you get an account and access to **LAPS**, which has an intuitive interface and is simple to configure for your company’s needs and processes. LAPS includes: - Instant updates of completed inspections/audits. - Centralized, automatic archiving of results. - Tracking of the location and status of assets and personnel. - Reporting and data analysis. - Personalized email accounts and dashboards. - A flexible scheduling tool. - Image uploading. - The option to download 100 percent of your data anytime. **How to Try The Checker Mobile** The mobile checklists cost 50 cents each, with a minimum purchase of 200. That’s just 100 bucks—the first time you try it and forever! ![Mobile inspections allow for instant archiving and notifications upon completion.](https://www.thechecker.net/hs-fs/file-539330604-jpg/images/manager_mike_using_mobile_device_with_caption.jpg) I encourage you to do the math on how this cost compares to other mobile inspection alternatives you might be considering. **The Bottom Line** If you’re tired of mountains of paperwork and bulging file cabinets, The Checker Mobile can provide you with the benefits of mobile in your inspections, audits, and assessments.     If you’d like to see a sample of how The Checker Mobile works, please click [here](https://www.thechecker.net/sample-inspection/).    *Upper image courtesy of carolina terp, [Creative Commons](http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/2.0/) ; lower image courtesy of gailjadehamilton, [Creative Commons](http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/2.0/).* Tags: [inspection checklists](https://www.thechecker.net/stories/blog/topic/inspection-checklists), [inspection software](https://www.thechecker.net/stories/blog/topic/inspection-software), [mobile inspections](https://www.thechecker.net/stories/blog/topic/mobile-inspections), [inspection management](https://www.thechecker.net/stories/blog/topic/inspection-management) - [** ](https://www.facebook.com/sharer/sharer.php?u=https://www.thechecker.net/stories/blog/bid/376281/It-s-Easy-to-Get-Started-with-The-Checker-Mobile&title=It's%20Easy%20to%20Get%20Started%20with%20The%20Checker%20Mobile&picture=//cdn2.hubspot.net/hub/245203/file-543792913-png/images/cluttered_desk_2_with_caption.png&description=Think%20of%20every%20audit,%20inspection,%20or%20assessment%20that%20you’re%20now%20doing%20on%20paper.%20Would%20you%20like%20to%20be%20able%20to%20do%20them%20on%20mobile%20devices?%20%20I%20talk%20to%20a%20l) - [**](https://twitter.com/share?source=https://www.thechecker.net/stories/blog/bid/376281/It-s-Easy-to-Get-Started-with-The-Checker-Mobile&text=It's%20Easy%20to%20Get%20Started%20with%20The%20Checker%20Mobile%20-%20https://www.thechecker.net/stories/blog/bid/376281/It-s-Easy-to-Get-Started-with-The-Checker-Mobile) - [**](http://www.linkedin.com/shareArticle?mini=true&url=https://www.thechecker.net/stories/blog/bid/376281/It-s-Easy-to-Get-Started-with-The-Checker-Mobile&title=It's%20Easy%20to%20Get%20Started%20with%20The%20Checker%20Mobile&summary=Think%20of%20every%20audit,%20inspection,%20or%20assessment%20that%20you’re%20now%20doing%20on%20paper.%20Would%20you%20like%20to%20be%20able%20to%20do%20them%20on%20mobile%20devices?%20%20I%20talk%20to%20a%20l) ## Related Articles ## [Spring Clean-Up Season Depends on Equipment That's Ready to Work](https://www.thechecker.net/stories/blog/spring-cleanup-equipment-works-hard.-inspection-documentation-matters-more-than-ever) 3 min read Topics: [inspection checklists](https://www.thechecker.net/stories/blog/topic/inspection-checklists), [equipment maintenance](https://www.thechecker.net/stories/blog/topic/equipment-maintenance), [equipment safety](https://www.thechecker.net/stories/blog/topic/equipment-safety) ## [What Should You Be Checking on a Boom Truck Crane?](https://www.thechecker.net/stories/blog/what-should-you-be-checking-on-a-boom-truck-crane) 4 min read Topics: [inspection checklists](https://www.thechecker.net/stories/blog/topic/inspection-checklists), [equipment maintenance](https://www.thechecker.net/stories/blog/topic/equipment-maintenance), [equipment safety](https://www.thechecker.net/stories/blog/topic/equipment-safety) ## [Do You Have a Checklist for That?
