When explaining what The Checker can do, we often find it difficult to decide the right terms to use.

Sometimes, we simply call them “inspection checklists.” That’s true to our roots in commercial equipment inspections, but it doesn’t really describe all The Checker can do.

Any of these terms could just as easily be used:

  • Facilities audits.
  • Pre-start assessments.
  • Safety audits.
  • Pre-audits.
  • Daily walk-arounds.
  • Joint Health/Safety Committee reviews.
  • Hazard assessments.
  • Pre-use inspections.
  • Daily vehicle inspections.
  • Worksite audits.
  • Circle checks.

And the list goes on and on. Audits, assessments, inspections, reviews—they all use checklists, which is the key, unchanging term. The concept that checklists help you check things better is the foundation of The Checker.

It doesn’t matter what you’re inspecting or how you’re inspecting it, we either already have a specific checklist for your process in our extensive library or we can create a checklist that is specific to your situation—in print or mobile format.

Whatever they're called, inspection checklists can be used to check any process, facility, equipment, etc.The Checker can be used whether you’re inspecting a vehicle, assessing a job site, auditing a facilities’ safety, or carrying out any other function where you need a well-organized, easy-to-use checklist to ensure you’re checking all the necessary items.

So, for brevity’s sake, I’ll still simply use “inspections” at times. But know that I mean any process of checking equipment, facilities, sites, or processes.

The more I think about it, this problem of terminology isn’t a bad difficulty to have. It shows how beneficial The Checker can be to companies of all types, in many varied uses. If something needs checking, The Checker can help you do it.
